Data we collect

Advice.com collects personal information, such as but not limited to an email address, when a user registers for an Advice.com account or otherwise voluntarily enters such information. We may also retain information associated with a user's visit such as but not limited to the IP address, browser type, language, or the date and time of the request, in order to provide our users with better service.

Our physical facilities provide appropriate security measures to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from our users.

Cookies

Advice.com uses cookies to store user preferences and provide better service, such as remembering login information so the user does not have to log in every time they visit our site.

Google, as a third party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our site.

Google's use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to our users based on their visits to our sites and other sites on the Internet.

Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy.

Advice.com does not sell, give away, or in any other way distribute any of the information that we collect about our users.
